An avid writer and reader since childhood, Angelica R. Roberts attended Florida A&M University, or FAMU, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.
Throughout her time on ‘The Highest of 7 hills,’ Angelica’s love for a pen and paper increased and her writing skills were honed. Upon graduating with academic honors from FAMU, this talented journalist, who had already written more than 50 published articles, online editorials, and short stories, decided to begin a new chapter in her career. In 2017, she published her debut novel, Vendetta.
With topics related to race, sexuality, history, and descriptive tales of love, relationships, power, and family, Angelica creates characters and narratives that captivate readers from all backgrounds. Angelica firmly believes in the impact of books and has collaborated with non-profit organizations like ‘Reading Partners.’ She has also worked with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, to promote literacy in communities. Originally from Baltimore, Angelica now lives in Dallas, where she is a member of the Dallas Area Writers Group. Angelica holds an MBA from Prairie View A&M University, and works as a full-time media strategist for Amadeus.
